Soooo let’s see. I have narrowed down my collective to four sites (Casey, Cate, Edward and Eion) but I’m still 50/50 when it comes to EionBailey.net as I’m just not as interested as I was. I like Covert Affairs but not enough to be like “Oh! Covert Affairs is on tonight, I can’t wait!” I guess you could say I’m sort of bored with it at the moment and I did wrangle Ann and Arwen but they already have enough on their plate as it is and Michelle is really busy with real life and she currently doesn’t have the internet so it’s hard running a site like Eion’s by myself and having to rely on the kindness of others to cap everything for me. So I guess we’ll see?

Emmy time! I am so so so (so so so….) happy that The Pacific won best/outstanding mini series (and a little miffed that none of the episodes won anything!) and of course Jim Parsons finally winning made my day because he definitely deserves it! Although I’m not surprised, I was hoping Hugh Laurie would win this year. Poor fella has been nominated, what? Six years in a row? But as Jess said, it just goes to show how consistently talented of an actor he really is so that makes me feel a bit better!

Hmm, what else? Ah, going back to my fansites, I finally applied for a Rami Malek site, hooray! I’ve been meaning to for quite some time now (more like five months…) and I had promised my friends at ramimalek that’d I get it done long ago but, here I am, just now haha! I just adore Rami and have ever since he was in the Night at the Museum movies and since being in The Pacific, it was just the icing on the cake :P Too bad he’s going to be in the new Twilight movie. Boo. Et tu Rami? OH! And I might be doing a site for Ruth Wilson (LOVE her!) So it’s all very exciting :D

So I got sunburned really badly. Like, really badly. When I say REALLY BADLY, I mean it. Worst sunburn I’ve ever had because this time, I was immobile. The pain on my back was immense; it went from this crawling stinging pain to complete numbness. Whenever I (attempted) to lie on my back, it felt like someone was rolling my skin up into a ball (which is actually a lot more painful than you might think) and when I moved off my back, my skin would stick to the pillow cover and that really hurt. I haven’t showered since last Tuesday (and I do NOT smell, than you very much! :P) because any sort of touch on my back, neck and shoulders feels like someone is stabbing me with thousands of needles and I can’t really move my arms because my shoulders are burned badly too.

All in all, do NOT go to a tennis tournament that lasts all day, in the heat and humidity, wearing a small spaghetti strap tank top.

However, I did get to watch a lot of great matches (Roger, Rafa, Nole, etc.) even though Roger’s match ended in his opponent retiring and John Isner having to retire during his match :( But I got Richard Gasquet’s autograph AND HE TOUCHED MY HAND!! I’m pretty sure during the entire match he was making wanton eyes toward me which is totally understandable. I also got to meet up with one of my LJ friends and that was really fun!

As for site stuff, I’m helping out at Edward-Norton.us and Camilla-Belle.net :) Still contemplating closing Zoe-Kazan.net but I’m not quite sure although the way I talk about the site to others it’s as if I’ve already given it up. I also need to start working on the Rami Malek site sometime soon too since I promised a lot of the Rami fans from The Pacific community that I’d get it done! Need to work on Casey-Affleck.net as well as several fanlistings. If only there were more time in the day!
